Innerarity Island is protected from the Gulf by Perdido Key. This beautiful Island has Perdido bay on one side and the Intracoastal water way on the other. On any given day you may spot dolphin swimming, cranes or an occational Bald Eagle flying by on the way home to it nesting grounds near by. Instead, they soon realized that our beautiful Island was the real treasure: a natural paradise lined with miles of unspoiled beaches; bays; estuaries; wetlands; and abundant native sea life and wildlife. The area was, until then, the secret of gulf coast Native Americans--Perdido Key's first inhabitants. Chances are you have heard of us by word of mouth, for THE KEY, so named by the early Spanish, is still a difficult place to find on the map. |
